Craig Martin

Craig Martin has competed on four continents at some of the world’s best shows and was long listed to represent his native New Zealand at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. He worked and trained in Europe for more than a decade with some of the best in the business, including William Funnell, Tim Stockdale, and Barry Taylor, and has brought horses up through the levels from youngsters to grand prix. In 2004, Craig moved to the United States and has both competed and coached at several major North American competitions, including the Winter Equestrian Festival in Welllington, FL, and Spruce Meadows in Calgary, AB. He continues to compete at the grand prix level today.

Craig has leveraged his extensive riding experience to benefit Wordley Martin as the Director of Project Management. He is one of a select list of professionals worldwide who hold the title of Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) Approved Footing Specialist. In addition, Craig is a licensed realtor with Wellington Equestrian Realty, which complements the work he does with Wordley Martin. He also is a competitive Ironman and ultra-marathon athlete.
