It has truly been an unbelievable kick off to the fall eventing season for client Liz Halliday-Sharp and her impressive string of horses. What began as a decisive win at Great Meadow international aboard the Ocala Horse Properties’ Deniro Z, has rolled into two more consecutive wins at the CCI 4* level for Halliday-Sharp and her team!
On a roll, Halliday-Sharp won the CCI 4*S aboard Deniro Z at both the Great Meadow International and then Plantation Field International, before heading to Stable View to seal her 3rd consecutive CCI 4* win aboard Fernhill by Night. Her success during the busy end of summer and fall seasons have also included 3 consecutive wins at the Prelim level on a new talent, Maryville Sir Henry, and multiple top placings on the Monster Partnership’s Cooley Quicksilver, Cooley Be Cool and the Desino’s Cooley Seeking Fortune.
She plans to compete Deniro Z at the CCI4*-L and several other of her top horses at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in November to wrap up her 2020 season. Currently, Halliday-Sharp has a decisive lead at the top of the USEA Leader Board as the top rider in the nation, and has her eye on the US Eventing Team at the Tokyo Olympic Games next summer.
Halliday-Sharp splits her time between Horse Power Equestrian in Ocala, Florida, and Blue Fox Farm in Lexington, Kentucky. Her training base in Ocala features a large irrigated dressage arena and a large jump arena with Wordley Martin Premium Footing. Wordley Martin wishes Liz, her owners, staff and her entire string of talented horses the best of luck heading into the end of the 2020 competitive season.
