Phillip Dutton continues to prove why he brought home the individual bronze medal from Rio. In a highly competitive CIC 3* division at Plantation Field International, Dutton held 3 of the top 5 placings on Mr. Candyman, I’m Sew Ready (a catch ride for him) and Z.
In the CIC 2* division, which saw over 80 entries, fellow Olympic team member Lauren Kieffer, who rides and trains on a Wordley Martin surface, topped that division on Mrs. Jacqueline Mars’, Landmark’s Monte Carlo. She also place 12th and 18th on two other of Mrs. Mars’ horses, Landmark’s Ginger Rogers and Landmark’s Monaco. Lauren is based out of Mrs. Mars two properties at Landmark Farm in Middleburg, and she winters at Meredyth South in Ocala during the winter. Plantation Field is located in Unionville, Pennslyvania, and the area is also home to many Olympians. Phillip Dutton’s True Prospect Farm is a short drive away from the event, and Phillip also is very involved as a key member of the Plantation Field International committee. This year he was honored during the awards presentation by fellow Olympian Boyd Martin as well as Roy Burek, owner/director of Charles Owen Helmets, for his strength and leadership on the Olympic team.

We have long standing relationships with our clients and originally build Phillip’s outdoor ring before partnering with Martin Collins to install the footing in Phillip’s renovated indoor. We have installed both rings at Mrs. Mars’ facilities including the indoor ring in Middleburg, Virginia and outdoor at Meredyth South in Ocala, Florida.
