This past month Wordley Martin Equestrian completed a full arena renovation for Martha Geiger at her gorgeous Glenlin Farm in Kimberton, Pennsylvania.  The arena work included installation of a new fully automated irrigation system and the addition of our Premium Blend footing.  Martha has been an exceptional client, and we are grateful for our recent visit to the farm to capture photos of she and her daughter Maddy Papariello riding on their new arena!

Both Martha and Maddy currently compete in the jumpers, this summer splitting their time between Pennsylvania and the Lamplight Equestrian Center at HITS Chicago, where they train and compete with Ryan and Janet Sassmannshausen.  Maddy began to train with the Sassmannshausens in 2019 and Martha joined their stable at WEF during the 2020 season.  During WEF, Martha was competing in the Low Adult Jumpers on her mare Chipie B F Z, with some top placings.

Martha’s interest in horses has been multi-dimensional, as she has enjoyed a successful career competing in the hunters, jumpers and in 2016, earned the USEF National Champion for Side Saddle!  She has also been an enthusiastic owner of several race horses.

Martha’s daughter, Maddy, is also a very successful young adult competitor.  This past year she’s earned multiple top placings and championships at the following shows:

AON/USHJA National Champion Low Adult Jumpers 2019, Las Vegas – Chipie B F Z
WEF 3 2020 – $10,000 Low A/O Jumper Classic placing 7th out of 70 – For Real

HITS Chicago III 2020 – Low A/O 1.25 Classic 5th place – Hill Top Van Het Gavershof

Both Martha and Maddy expressed gratitude for their training opportunities with Ryan and Janet Sassmannshausen,    who are dedicated, experienced and detail oriented horsemen who run an extremely successful business with a high degree of professionalism.

“They have made a substantial difference in my riding over the past year and have helped me and my horses progress in a significant way,” stated Maddy.  “I wouldn’t be where I am today without them, and am looking forward to turning more goals to reality with the Kinvarra team by my side!”

Now with their newly renovated Wordley Martin arena, Martha and Maddy are able to continue a positive training program at home that will complement their competitive goals with the Sassmannshausen.   Wordley Martin is happy to know that Glenlin Farm’s arena surface will contribute to the health and soundness of their horses.

“The only thing that was missing at Glenlin Farm was a world class riding ring”, said Martha Geiger, owner. “Wordley Martin is the leader in their industry for quality, consistency and attention to detail, hands down. We now have a spectacular full drainage ring with exceptional footing and a fully automated irrigation system. Our horses deserve nothing but the best and I’m grateful that Wordley Martin enabled us to give them just that!”
